SHARK ATTACKS IN HELLENIC SEAS REPORTED CASES OF SHARK ATTACKS IN HELLAS (GREECE) THE START OF THE RESEARCHWhile reading in newspapers, magazines and books about shark attacks on humans, which had taken place in the Hellenic (Greek) seas, I realised that although anumber of attacks were referred to, nowhere were there reliable statistics about these attacks. In addition discovered there appeared to be nosingle research paper containing the details of each attack.
